Living With the Work
These fine art prints are an extension of my original portrait paintings into a more accessible format, while maintaining the integrity of the work. I select each print from a specific body of work for its ability to hold visual weight beyond the original canvas. I typically choose two artworks to reproduce at a given time - ideally, two from the same collection that can be displayed together.
I approach my print reproductions with the same care as the original painting process. Attention is given to color accuracy, tonal depth, and surface detail, ensuring that the movement, texture, and atmosphere of the paintings translate faithfully into print form. The intention is not only to create decorative reproductions, but works that hold the spirit and visual strength of the originals.
Some prints are released as limited editions. Edition sizes are intentionally kept small, reinforcing their value as collectible works rather than mass-produced objects. Each print is signed and numbered, and once an edition is sold out, it will not be reprinted.
Materials are chosen for their archival quality and longevity. The artworks are printed on acid-free archival paper using pigment inks designed to preserve clarity, color fidelity, and detail over time. Whether displayed individually or as part of a collection, each work is created to endure.
These prints reflect the same themes present throughout my practice: femininity as strength, presence as power, and beauty as an internal force rather than an external performance. They are intended for collectors who resonate with the work and wish to live with it in a more intimate, lasting way.
FAQ
What is the difference between an open edition, a limited edition, and a timed release?
Open editions are prints that are not limited in quantity and may be produced on an ongoing basis.
Limited editions are produced in a fixed quantity that is determined in advance. Each print is numbered and signed, and once the edition is sold out, it will not be reprinted.
Timed releases fall between the two. Rather than being limited by quantity, the edition is limited by time. Prints are available for purchase only during a defined release window, after which the edition is permanently closed. The final edition size is determined by how many works are collected within that period.
What is an archival print?
An archival print is produced using materials and processes designed for long-term preservation. Acid-free papers prevent yellowing and deterioration over time, while pigment-based inks offer superior stability and resistance to fading compared to dye-based inks. Together, these materials ensure that the artwork maintains its tonal depth, color accuracy, and surface integrity for decades when properly cared for. Archival printing is the standard used by museums and collectors, allowing the work to be lived with and passed on without compromising its quality.
